How you will be graded....

​​Total Project Value:
  • The project is worth 32 points. 
  • Percentages will evaluated by dividing your total points earned/ total possible points. 
  • Look at the rubric in the packet attached above.
Late Submissions
  • Late submissions loose 1 point for each day the project is late. 
    • For example, if a student submits a project on December 20th, the project is 11 days late. The student originally scores a 28 out of 32 points. The students then looses 11 making the final total points earned, 17 out of 32. The student earns a 53%.
  • Late submissions are excepted until the project is completely depreciated of value.
  • Projects are not accepted after January 10th 2016.

Tips for Writing about  Roxey Ballet's Nutcracker (Live)

            On December 5, 2016, audience members experienced the legendary holiday production of the Nutcracker performed by the Roxey Ballet Company of Lambertville, NJ.  The Nutcracker performance took place at Kendall Theatre at The College of New Jersey in Ewing, NJ at 10:00am. This performance was presented as a representation of the Christmas Holiday. Roxey Ballet offered a school time matinee to broaden the exposure of ballet dance to public school students. This Nutcracker production was performed to the classical score composed by Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky and was based on the store by E.T.A. Hoffman. The production was staged, conceived, and choreographed by Mark and Melissa Roxey. This critique will focus on evaluating the sections of Sugar Plum Fairy and The Waltz of the Flowers during ACT II.
